A Portland man was arrested on Monday afternoon in Northeast Portland following a heated altercation with a group of workers at a neighbor’s house.
According to police reports, officers were dispatched to a disturbance near Northeast 16th Avenue and Ainsworth Street around 2 p.m. Upon arrival, they took Trevor Deone Cash into custody.
One of the workers involved in the incident told authorities that Cash became irate when he noticed their work truck parked in front of his home. The worker claimed that Cash began shouting at them, escalating the situation.
The worker also alleged that Cash insulted them by referring to them as “illegals” and threatened to call law enforcement, even going as far as to claim he would contact U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in an attempt to have them deported.
