San Antonio Mother Arrested for Allegedly Assisting Son in Planning School Terror Attack
A shocking development has unfolded in San Antonio, where a mother has been arrested on charges of aiding her child in plotting a devastating terror attack at his school. The chilling details are still emerging as authorities continue their investigation into the alarming case.
Mother Charged with Aiding Terror Plot After Son’s Disturbing School Attack Plan Uncovered
33-year-old Ashley Pardo was arrested and charged with Aiding in the Commission of Terrorism after it was revealed that her son had been plotting a violent attack on a local middle school.
The investigation into the case began in January 2025, when authorities uncovered chilling drawings created by the child, which hinted at violent acts, including references to his school. As detectives dug deeper, they discovered the boy’s unsettling obsession with mass shooters and the manifestos they leave behind, raising serious concerns about the scope of the planned attack.
In April 2025, investigators discovered that the child had been researching the horrific mosque attacks in Christchurch, New Zealand. This disturbing revelation led to his suspension from school as authorities took immediate action to assess the full extent of his troubling behavior.
After being placed in an alternative school, the child returned to his home campus on May 8, 2025. His reentry prompted immediate action from school officials, who implemented heightened security measures in response to growing concerns about his disturbing obsession with mass-targeted violence.

On May 11, the child’s grandmother, who had been caring for him intermittently due to his behavioral issues, made a shocking discovery. She found him striking a live bullet with a hammer. Alarmed, she immediately intervened and demanded to know where he had obtained the ammunition.
In a chilling revelation, the child told their grandmother that it was Ashley Pardo, their mother, who had provided them with the live ammunition. Further disturbing details came to light when the grandmother discovered that Pardo had been taking the child to military surplus stores. There, she had purchased military gear for him—including a tactical helmet, a vest capable of holding armor plates, and various magazines for handguns and rifles. In exchange for these items, Pardo reportedly asked her to babysit the child’s younger siblings.
The grandmother, growing increasingly concerned, reportedly searched the child’s room and made a chilling discovery. She found magazines loaded with various types of ammunition, along with a makeshift explosive device fashioned from a mortar-style firework—further evidence of the dangerous depths of the child’s preparations.
In addition to the alarming discoveries in the child’s room, the grandmother reportedly found a note on the kitchen table. The disturbing contents included chilling references to mass shootings, terror attacks, and explicit ties to white supremacy and Nazism—further revealing the dangerous ideology influencing the child’s mindset.

According to the affidavit, Ashley Pardo had been fully aware of her child’s troubling threats and behavior. Despite this, she maintained frequent communication with local law enforcement, child protective services, and school officials—raising serious questions about her role in addressing, or failing to address, the escalating situation.
However, the affidavit paints a troubling picture of Pardo’s response to her child’s behavior. It describes her as dismissive of the child’s violent tendencies, with reports claiming that she not only supported his disturbing drawings and violent expressions but also voiced no concern whatsoever about his escalating behavior—both to school officials and others.
