
Troutdale Man Arrested for Murder Following Suspicious Death in Gresham Mobile Home Park
TROUTDALE, Ore. — A SWAT team arrested a 21-year-old man early Wednesday morning in Troutdale, following his identification as the suspect in a recent murder case in Gresham.
Quincy Teklehiamanot was taken into custody and has been charged with second-degree murder. He is currently being held at the Multnomah County Jail.
The charge stems from the tragic shooting death of 22-year-old Ahanu Johnson, which occurred on May 5. Police responded to a call regarding a suspicious death at a mobile home park on Northeast 201st Avenue in Gresham, where they discovered Johnson’s lifeless body. Authorities initially classified the death as suspicious, launching an investigation that ultimately led to Teklehiamanot’s arrest.
Investigators linked Teklehiamanot to Johnson’s death, prompting the East Metro SWAT team to execute an arrest warrant at a residence in Troutdale early Wednesday morning.
